Therapist & Coach for Women
Kahila Hedayatzadeh is the founder of Thriving Woman™, a clinical psychologist, coach, and consultant with training and experience in cognitive psychology, trauma-focused therapy, and behavioral change, with a special focus on diversity and inclusion.
She is bilingual and bicultural
she comes from a diverse background in the nonprofit sector, with an emphasis on working with adolescents and adults.
Kahila has also dedicated her time and education to providing Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity consulting including training, focus groups, and facilitation of services to clients in the education, corporate, and non-profit markets.
That includes facilitations to executive leaders to create high levels of inclusion and diversity.
Training included implicit bias training and increasing cultural competency among leadership: for board members, and the executive team.
Kahila’s clinical background is in treating adults and adolescents, utilizing a wide range of modalities including but not limited to positive psychology, and holistic techniques focused on an individualized experience for each client.
She has volunteered her time and skills to the cancer community. In partnering with a childhood cancer non-profit she created a mental health program for the families, implementing workshops, symposiums, and one-on-one sessions, as well as hosting a podcast to benefit the cancer community.
